DISTANCE HEALING 

What is it?

Distance healing is also known as distant healing, long-distance healing, remote healing or absent healing.  As the name suggests, healing is sent at a distance using some form of energy healing.  The simplest form of distance healing is prayer which has proven to be very effective in facilitating positive change and healing, as demonstrated in a double blind experiment performed by Cardiologist Randolph Byrd in 1988. The findings of this experiment follows: prayed for patients were 5 times less likely to require antibiotics, 3 times less likely to develop pulmonary edema and none of these prayed for patients required endotracheal intubation, whereas, 12 of the non prayed for patients needed this procedure.

How does it work?

A good place to start is to look at the research into Quantum Physics. Mentioned in Michael Talbot's book "Holographic Universe", in 1982, physicist, Alain Aspect and his team performed an experiment at the University of Paris, discovering that under certain circumstances subatomic particles such as electrons are able to instantaneously communicate with each other, regardless of the distance separating them.  These findings were duplicated by Nicolas Gisan in 1997 and he concluded that some particles appeared to be communicating at the mind-boggling speed of 20,000 times the speed of light.  Also mentioned in Talbot's book, the well known physicist David Bohm suggested another way of understanding Aspect's discovery.  "Bohm believes the reason subatomic particles are able to remain in contact with one another regardless of the distance separating them, is not because they are sending some sort of mysterious signal back and forth, but because their separateness is an illusion.  He argues that at some deeper level of reality, such particles are not individual entities, but are actually extensions of the same fundamental something." "If the apparent separateness of subatomic particles is illusory, it means that at a deeper level of reality, all things in the universe are infinitely interconnected."

What this tells us is that scientists are now recognising what mystics have said for years. Just like there are many drops that make up an ocean and merge into one, we are not separate - we are all connected.

Let's look at it another way.  We all know that energy or waves are transmitted via radio/television signals and then picked up by a receiver, often over very long distances or that we can talk to people via cellular phones without the need for wires. The same applies with distance healing - the energy is sent over long distances by the sender or healer and then picked up by the receiver or client. Most people wouldn't understand how radio, television or cellular phones work, but they do work, regardless of whether we understand it or not.

How does the healing find the correct person over long distances?

Again this comes back to our connection with one another and intent.  We are all connected like many drops in an ocean so all we need is the intent to send the healing to that person. Often, all that is needed is a name, although we also prefer to have a location or a photograph.  Please note that permission will need to be granted by the recipient if the healing is for someone else, due to the Universal Law of Free Will.  The exception to this is for pets, small children or someone incapable of responding e.g. a coma patient.

Do I need to know when the healing is taking place?

No, this is not necessary, however we will give you the approximate time the session will take place so you can relax, nap or just be aware that the healing is taking place.

Will I feel the energy?

Everyone is different, some people feel energy or shifts occurring and others don't. However, the healing is taking place regardless of whether you notice something or not. Often the effects will be felt immediately. 

How effective is distance healing?

Distance healing is very effective and just as effective as the client being in the same room as the healer - distance and time are no barriers.  This type of healing is also very effective when used on children and pets and can be sent to the past, present or future. - there really are no limits.

WOW - thanks Jenny. It's amazing that those colours came up as I think these chakras need attention from me at the moment. At Lu's playshop on the weekend, it was the Goddess oils for these chakras that were more unpleasant for me - so your healing identifying these colours just confirms that. I have just done a basic search (and will look more in depth later when I get the chance) at the thymic chakra and some of the information I read is again most relevant to me at the moment. I read some information about how this is the chakra to help me in finding out my life purpose and as much as I love teaching, have often wondered if there is more out there for me - especially looking at massage, alternative therapies and of course a spiritual pathway (hence my interest in the playshops, etc). Information I read about letting go of past events (relationships) to be open to new experiences also hit a nail on the head for me - once too many times have I been hurt and I have recently found myself in a position where I will not allow myself to trust a partner again. The "give us your cares" tells me what my psychologist has told me before - that I can't bottle it all up and that I need to let those around me, those that are willing, to help me when help is needed. This is something I'm not very good at doing. Until I started seeing a psychologist, any visual sign of weakness was not an option in my life - I had to be perceived as the strong and 'together' one. This is part of the reason I keep everything in. I will now look through my necklaces and see what I have that I can wear at the present time.

Salvinthomas from Saudi asked for some help regarding his Sinusitis which was causing daily headaches and sputum.  He was on a lot of medication from the Doctor but nothing was helping.  I suggested a Naturopath could help him but he didn't know what that was.  I tuned into him and saw a Cow.  I asked him if he ate lots of Dairy & Beef products to which he replied they were his favourites.  I suggested he may wish to cut back on these products for a while.  After a couple of months, he got back to me to tell me that he had cut back on beef for about a month and he was now okay.  He tested whether it truly was the beef by eating beef after he had cleared it from his system and the symptoms returned.
